It's been a while since my last update. My intended parents ended up changing over to San Diego Fertility Center to work with Dr. Daneshmand since I worked with him and had success with my own twins through his clinic. There was some concern at first because I had some bleeding during my pregnancy that we never found a cause for. I had to have my records reviewed by the head of the perinatology department where I delivered my twins and luckily he determined I was not at risk of it happening again since we only plan to transfer 1 (in hopes of a singleton) and I likely had bleeding from carrying two very large babies (my girls will 7.9 and 7.11 at birth and I carried them to my scheduled c-section date with no further bleeding issues). It was a bit of a headache at first since my intended parents first clinic had no issues approving my records but SDFC felt my initial OB clearance from the doctor who saw me my entire twin pregnancy wasn't enough but we understood that this is all about the safety of myself and their future baby so we were willing to do what was needed to be sure I could move forward.

So finally, I have my records approved and I've been scheduled to have my medical screening July 13th!! I'm excited to get things going, and hopeful everything will go more smoothly from here on out. When I decided to begin this blog, I made it a point to share the good and the bad of surrogacy. A lot of people go into it not realizing that sometimes things that are out of our hands happen and we have to trust the process and that these professionals are just trying to do what is best.

I'll update you once I have my medical screening, wish me luck!

New transfer date!!

I'm sorry I didn't get to update everyone after our last failed transfer. After thinking it over, my intended parents decided they did...
