What kind of surrogate would I be if I didn't share the downs of the journey?? We all like to think things will go perfectly from the beginning but lets me real... life happens. I was scheduled for my medical screening at my IPs clinic in Atlanta, GA but due to some conflicts my IPs are having with them, they are considering finding a new clinic and transferring their 3 embryos. I was a mix of bummed, because I wanted to get the ball rolling, but also I was also relieved because it buys me more time to work on my weight loss goal. Also, I want my IPs to be happy with the clinic they work with because if THEY were having issues with them then who knows what issues I may have had with them.

Note to clinics: if parents are paying you thousands of dollars for you to help them become parents, a little kindness can go a long way. My IPs are the sweetest people and I can't imagine what they have had to gone through during their YEARS of fertility treatments.

Anywho, I am waiting for my IPs to meet with another clinic this month and if they do decide to move forward with them, I will let yall know how it goes!

Enjoy this picture of the beautiful flowers my IPs sent me for mother's day. I really do hope we get to move forward and we have success so that my IM can celebrate Mother's day next year!!

New transfer date!!

I'm sorry I didn't get to update everyone after our last failed transfer. After thinking it over, my intended parents decided they did...
